So today we re-enacted the Battle of Bosworth Field on the school field. We had a couple of injuries and lots of fatalities, although thankfully they all got up at the end of the day. The kids were well interested in learning how to die without getting hurt. We did lots of dying by falling onto your knees, bottom, side practice. Then finally, the piece de resistance - we crowned the victorious Henry VII with the afro wig. (It was the only thing I had in my classroom that was headgear).

I guess they won't forget it, even if they don't remember why we did it or what the fuck it was about.
