I don't understand.

There are people today who have said to me that they understand why I am going on the anti-war demo in London tomorrow but that really 'we should show him' that we need to 'teach him a lesson' and 'he can't walk all over us'.

I just really don't get it. What do we need to show him? How will war teach him a lesson? and how exactly is he walking all over us?

Am I just missing the point?

All I can see is pain, suffering and death.
